Come and join us for some great trail routes through the forest, with both 5K and 10K distances. All races start and finish at Nant BH Centre. There is some parking available at the Centre, with a larger car park in Llanrwst, and several smaller car parks shown on the map fairly close to the main Centre. Please car share from Llanrwst if possible.
There will be a compulsory kit requirement for the 5K and 10K route. The weather in February can be unpredictable, and the forest is quite exposed in places, so you will need to make sure you are experienced at running in these potentially more challenging conditions. It could be blowing a gale, horizontal rain, snowing, or even calm and sunny!! Who knows!
All race entries are through Fabian4, https://www.fabian4.co.uk/default.aspx?EventID=3818 with entries closing on Friday 14th February 10am. Therefore, there will be no entries on the day! Both races will include RaceTek electronic timing, a finishers memento as well as soup and a roll once you’ve finished. Registration at the Centre will be open from 9am on race day. All courses will be fully marked with marshals at key points throughout.
Llyn Y Parc 5K
A great route which takes a big loop through the forest tracks to Llyn y Parc before returning to the Centre on some smaller trails.
Minimum age 14 years on the day.
Race entry £15, includes RaceTek timing.
Parts of the route are unsuitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs.
Registration closes 10:10am (20 minutes before the race start).

Llyn Y Parc 10K
The longest race! A challenging route which descends from Nant BH Centre down to Betws y Coed on forest tracks and a short quiet road section, before then climbing all the way back up to Llyn y Parc up a rough, rocky path, then returning through the forest to the Centre.
Minimum age 16 years on the day.
Race entry £20, includes RaceTek timing.
Parts of the route are unsuitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs.
Registration closes 10:10am (20 minutes before the start).
